About me

Hello! I’m Amanda, a Product Designer who creates fluid experiences that have a positive impact on people.

I enjoy all aspects of the design process. I believe good design starts from a deep understanding of the people involved and the problems I’m solving. I take a collaborative and iterative approach to my work by getting feedback early and often to inform my designs.

I learned design thinking from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University. To gain more hands on experience, I also completed RED Academy's UX designer program. The program allowed me to work directly with clients to develop products in an agency like environment. I continue to refine my craft by learning new skills and knowledge needed to tackle new challenges.

I am currently working at Thrive Health designing Enterprise products that facilitate returning to work or school safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
